LACS: A New Standard for Asset Creation Transparency

The Lumi Foundation is pleased to announce the LACS Asset Classification Standard, a new system designed to bring greater transparency to the digital asset marketplace. LACS is a simple, self-declared labeling system that allows creators to clearly indicate the level of human and AI involvement in their work.

With the increasing prevalence of AI-generated content, it has become difficult for consumers to determine the origin of digital assets. LACS addresses this challenge by empowering consumers to make informed decisions and providing creators with a straightforward way to communicate the creation methods and origin of their work.

How to Use LACS:

Creators simply add the appropriate tag (LACS-H, LACS-A, or LACS-G) to their asset’s title, description, or metadata. They can also use visual badges provided by the Lumi Foundation.
